About the Role:

The company is inviting applications for the position of Data Modeller. This role is suited for experienced professionals with a strong background in analyzing, modeling, and optimizing data structures and systems. The position plays a critical part in transforming business needs into structured, long-term data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate business requirements into long-term data models.
• Evaluate and assess the current data systems for performance, accuracy, and improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to build conceptual data models and data flow diagrams.
• Develop and apply best practices in data coding to maintain system consistency.
• Review existing system modifications for cross-compatibility and potential enhancements.
• Implement data strategies while building robust physical data models.
• Update and refine local and metadata data models.
• Evaluate operational data systems to detect variances, inefficiencies, or discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot issues within the data systems and perform optimization when necessary.

Key Technical Skills:

Data Modeling

Requirements:

• 4–10 years of experience in data modeling and data systems.
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Engineering, Science (B.Sc)
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data flows, and system interoperability.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and manage complex data structures and implementations.
